At Granger, you will find an interesting mix of small businesses and shops that are unique to small-town America, offering friendly and small-town service.

Family Fun

  1. Dinosaur sightings! Granger has nearly two dozen dinosaurs residing at Hisey Park at the edge of town next to the highway-in the pond and in the grass. And they are full-size!
  2. Granger’s Dino-in-a-Day is an event the community created to let the public in on the dinosaur craze that has put this town on the map.
  3. Dino-Mite Fourth of July in Granger has contest, concerts and fireworks.
  4. If you’re a golfer, you may want to check out Cherry Hill Family Golf Course near Granger. There’s miniature golf, too—Dino Putt.

  1. The Yakima Bait Company manufactures and markets fishermen’s tied flies and related products around the world.
  2. The H. L. Worden Company manufactures Tiffany style lamp kits and markets them near and far. You can visit their plant on Main Street and buy a kit in their retail shop to take home for a souvenir.
  3. Radio Station KDNA is the first non-profit Spanish language radio station in the state. It offers music, news, information, and public affairs programming to its many Hispanic listeners throughout Central Washington.

You can find several wineries near Granger. Horizon’s Edge Winery, Eaton Hill Winery, Stewart Vineyards, and Tefft Cellars are all just a short drive out of town.
